I may not have prepared enough for my 55th. LOL.
Last year I got upgraded to the most amazing suite in Seattle, this year is a little less posh.
Having your birthday between Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day, and on Kentucky Derby Day jacks up the prices of everything.
I did party so hard on Cinco de Mayo that I was drinking a roadie mind eraser from my thermos at work yesterday just to take the edge off.
I’ll settle for Chicken Fettuccine and a little shopping today.

Alan Doyle.Newfoundland superstar, one time member of Great Big Sea[a reunion,soon please]now going solo with his Beautiful Band.Prince Charles and his,er.....Missus are visiting St John's today,i don't suppose 'Charlie Windsor' will be wishing one of the Provinces most famous sons a Happy Birthday.Oh well,that's down to me.Happy Birthday Mr.Doyle,looking forward to seeing you performing live,soon. Thank you both! Sorry to let you down but partying hard was, alas, not on the agenda. However, my youngest (the one you met, DzM) did make me a "Blueberry Whiskey Sour" cake, so the spirit was there. It was fabulous, the day was nice at the beach we gathered at, and I got a nice bantha t-shirt, among other gifts. So all in all it was a win.
