I love David and Amy Sedaris so much.

Last time David Letterman’s mistress gave me two VIP passes for writing a stupid ass letter Amy Sedaris was a guest on Late Show, along with Nard Dog (Baby Wawa).

I think I love Amy Sedaris more (due to Jerri Blank). One of the most recent times walking around Hells Kitchen I saw Joff-ree from Strangers With Candy walking into work. JOFF-ree, LOL.

JOFF-ree! :?

That movie is a masterpiece.

We have been enjoying Amy's homemaking show "At Home With Amy Sedaris'" as a nice tonic to the toxic times we live in. Have tix for an evening with David Sedaris that has been bumped 3x but looks finally set to run Apr 30.

I saw their dad died recently, and they both honored him on social media by posting photos of him in various racially inappropriate Halloween costumes from over the years.

I can only take that show in small doses, LOL.
Her instagram is interesting.

Yeah, considering Amy owns bestiality books/mags to show her brother (for shock value) pictures of costumes that went with the decades are quite tame. I read some of the postings but must’ve missed the pics.

Had a sibling that was a King or something in a school play and I then wore it as a pimp costume while another siblings was a hooker. We were around ten or eleven. Watching Baretta, Kojak and Starsky & Hutch will do that. If you come from a neighborhood where you play “hide ‘em ditch ‘em” being a sex worker for Halloween is nothing.

I like David’s brother’s Fuck-it Bucket anecdote.

Had a ticket to see him in Santa Cruz and couldn’t make it. Every time I see him appearing nearby it’s either sold out or I’m traveling. Did see Santaland Diaries at our Old Globe though and it was a-mazing.

David wrote an article about the suicide of their sister that was interesting and certainly spoke to me being one of seven kids.https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2013 ... e-are-five

Just a brilliant family.

Have never seen David Sedaris in person, but returning from Dublin I jumped up and bum rushed first class on a flight from Heathrow to JFK, startling author Augusten Burroughs. I had like a half-hour to get thru customs and on an LAX flight and just went for it. 8) How dare a coach person bypass the first class? I was gonna say Hey man! but was on a mission. He seemed boring.

A phonetic pilot study of chirp, chatter, tweet and tweedle in three domestic cats
https://portal.research.lu.se/en/public ... YmCRXknSoM

We had a cat that’d go “bleep, blurp, bloop“ from time to time when not actively bugging out.
She kinda sounded like R2D2.

Re-reading When We Were Thin. Dear old CP Lee's autobiographical account of the rise and demise of Alberto y lost trios Paranoias. His snarky humour is badly missed.

Warren Ellis: Nina Simone's Gum

In which a piece of gum once chewed by Dr Simone becomes a prized feature in an exhibition.
