Pogues themed birthday party

Hi everyone! New to this place & looking for advice from fans. My boyfriend is turning 30 & is a huge fan so I wanted to do something special. Unfortunately I don’t know all that much about the pogues & would like help with some ideas on what to do. Music, games, deco, dress code. Anything you’d love in a pogues party. Please help, it’d be much appreciated!

I would do a costume party with characters from the songs, but that would imply the attendees all know the songs (so yes, invite Barney), or you get bossy and tell everybody how to dress.

Or one of those "who i am" things where you don't know who you are and have to question others, again based on the characters from songs. But again, the attendees would all hafta be Pogues fans.
