So here's wishing all the remaining Medusans on the raft, and all those who've fallen overboard and are missed, a very Happy Christmas (your arse). Hope you do all manage to celebrate appropriately, or inappropriately if you prefer, whatever the restrictions.

Here on Plague Island, we're about to go into a new level of lockdown on 26th, as the corona has obviously agreed a deal to take a few days off till then. In new lockdown, we down south will finally be even more locked down than Dirty Old Town. Which is fair enough really.

And here's hoping that 2021 will be better. Or at least not worse.

And happy birthday tomorrow to Mr MacGowan.

Lockdown central is bracing itself for Johnson's latest and, possibly ultimate, dead cat as the shit Brexit Deal is unveiled and sold to us a a stroke of brilliance. The champagne is not on ice.

We are to remain in Tier 2 for now, but I think once it's reviewed again, we'll probably go into Tier 3, then Tier 4, then who knows?

Having made it through a trying day with a pet I’m charged with, I’m grateful that the nutter doesn’t require an animal hospital. Because, while I’m no quitter... others have tried and failed to get the beastie into its carrier. Like, it ain’t happening.

It wants its Mommy and everybody else is collateral damage.


Now, I’m gonna mask up, purchase Christmas dinner and use a tiny portion of the 911 fund on vodka.

I was close to googling household vet visits that tranquilize. Is that even a thing? I know they do it for teeth cleanings, but that’s in California. LOL.
