Been a while. Who have we lost

Some? All? None?

The traffic comes and goes. Many familiar faces show up every now and again, but the frequency of visits from nearly everyone is lower than it once was. Still - it's a good group of people and I enjoy all the nuggets of entertainment that come from them each and every day.

I check in a couple of times a day, like I always have done, but mostly don't comment on anything.

It's gone so quiet here and it's a shame. I would love it to go back to the good old days when loads of people came on and posted. There was a real community spirit about the site.

Sadly though everyone's either moved on to Twitter of Facebook or moved on with their lives.

Some of us are still here. You sort of get attached to the old raft.

I do a bit of twittering too (@oldfirehazard), but continue to resist the clutches of facespace.

I am still repping Boston, USA. Since Mr. Chevron's death and the probable lack of any more Pogues shows, it is indeed a quiet space. I do check Spider's Twitter feed, but I really don't like the medium. FB isn't really the place for the in-depth info that is available here.

Still, like Heather, I try to check in everyday. Always read O'B's Date in History!! I try to throw anything Pogues related onto the Raft along with keeping the Irish Social Pages (aka RIPS) up to date.

I am still here, but I have stopped paddling some time ago. The stores of booze seem to have run dry as well.

That was a bad night when the booze ran out. Since then we've been having to improvise.

I do! To be more specific, I miss the intelligent debates from different points of view about a range of topics. I do not miss online harassment, name calling, moans about unique spelling choice, online bullying and what not.
