24-The Star Of The County Down 3:01
25-Fiesta 6:17

27-DJ 4:50

It claims to be from the Nakano sunplaza, Tokyo, 15th Feb,1990. But the set is all Peace and Love tour - 18 months earlier.
I know the band were in new Zealand in early Feb 90, so could have played this show in theory on theur way home, but I can find no documentary evidence to place it.
It seems more likely to be from the shows on 30-Oct-88 and 31-Oct-88 at
MZA Ariake, Tokyo.

Any ideas?

These dates & venue correct. I was there Sankei Hall, Osaka on 14th and Nakano Sunplaza, Tokyo on 15th Feb 1990(second Japan tour), Also first Japan tour on Oct 1988.
I have an old cassette(from FM radio then) incl same set-list above.
I have an old flyer and some of interview on Japanese magazines.

Many thanks, Yas san.

I was unsure as the Pogues live gigs website ( http://p.bruhat.free.fr/pogues/pog-live.html ) doesn't have any shows listed between New Zealand on Feb 2nd and New York on March 16th.
But it does say it is an incomplete list.

Strangely enough, there was a period in our career when it was not abnormal for us to do consecutive tours of OZ/NZ, Japan and the USA in a three month period, perhaps also popping back to Japan for a stray Womad or something that we may have missed on first sight. No wonder we went crazy. No wonder the unfortunate singer fell out the van. Or the train, or whatever it was. And now they want us to go to Hawaii!? [/i]

I have the Far From Home: Live In Japan, 1988 bootleg. However, it contains most of the material off of If I Should Fall From Grace With God, with only USA, Boat Train, and Honky Tonk Women being from the Peace and Love era. Funny enough, the DVD of this concert that I do have contains, The Body of an American and Japan, but the CD version of this show omits these two songs.
