Tell us more, you can't leave us dangling with this tit-bit (or have I not been paying attention?).

I never thought there'd be anything that could make me think that Mr Strummer was even more my kind of guy! :D

(It sort of goes with the profession. Best job I ever had was one with an unrestricted supply of whizzy stationery.)

I looked on the Wikipedia Pogues entry and it includes two to-be-released DVDs. :)

Yea, I know. I tell the people at work that all the time. People can just make shit up, and "correct" experts.

Philip,

May we remind you of your announcement from 28/12/2005:

"However, it is still our plan to release Manchester 04 on DVD, perhaps as early as March 2006. Watch this space."

I'm getting a bit nervous now... :)

That was intended, to some extent, to be more of a (if you will) Rockumentary. I can't say it will include an entire show, but neither can I say it won't.

A slight disappointment for me because that Manchester 2004 show was the one I managed to see (and loved every second of it) but no complaints, as long as some sort of a DVD is still planned to be released!

Sitll, I would like to know if any material of that manchester 2004 gig is going to be used in the concert video or the rockumentary? Extras maybe?

You must be sick of people asking you, but it's an exciting prospect!

It looks to me that we've missed the original hoped-for release date (March 07) as the soundtrack has not yet been mixed, so my guess is expect The Pogues On Broadway [The Nokia, New York City, March 2006] to come out sometime around October as part of our 25th Anniversary celebrations.

thanks mr chevron - guess we will just have to be patient - difficult as that may be ... is there any indication if this will the full concert from the Nokia?

To tell you the truth I don't know yet. I've never watched this footage, except 4 numbers to check the lighting was OK and stuff. I do remember the 18th was a better show than the 17th, so it'll perhaps be a mixture. I'm sure we'll be at least aiming for a complete show.
