It looks to me that we've missed the original hoped-for release date (March 07) as the soundtrack has not yet been mixed, so my guess is expect The Pogues On Broadway [The Nokia, New York City, March 2006] to come out sometime around October as part of our 25th Anniversary celebrations.

To tell you the truth I don't know yet. I've never watched this footage, except 4 numbers to check the lighting was OK and stuff. I do remember the 18th was a better show than the 17th, so it'll perhaps be a mixture. I'm sure we'll be at least aiming for a complete show.

The Pogues are almost always better when the Special Occasion has passed and the pressure is off. But it's a band thing - there is no real reason to suppose that from out front the show was especially better on the 18th. We just know ourselves when we've been neater and we can be quite fussy about this when it comes to live albums, DVDs etc. If quality control was left to Terry Woods's judgment, nothing would ever come out.

Can we expect to see it released in North-America? As a poor little Canadian and a massive fan of the Pogues, I really want it!!!
