I'm not all that familiar with bootlegs, so pardon me if I'm asking a stupid question. I bought subject two disc set. I like it mainly because I was at the show. It is packaged fairly well, so it looks like a professional job. It has Pogue Mahone all over it, and says on the back: " All rights of teh producer and of the owner of the work reproduced reserved. Unauthorized copying, hiring, renting, public performance and broadcasting of this recording prohibited."
It is put out by Back to Zero. So my question is: is it authorized by the Pogues, or their record company? If not, then why the copyright statement if it is an illegal bootleg?
Also, since I have only listened to a few tracks from Streams of Whiskey, could someone who knows better tell me if this is a decent recording compared to other bootlegs mentioned on this forum. Thanks!
