This weekend I saw them for the first time live and they absolutely rocked the house!
They were really nice lads to hang around with and have a drink with as well.

Isn't that the band that features the bloke that use to be in The Popes? I've heard bits and pieces and there much better than bands like the Dropkick Murphys who are terrible (IMO).

Just been on the popes website and in the links section their is on to Neck's web site. which says "Band formed by former Pope, Leeson O'Keefe, check em out!."

Yeah I talked to Leeson about that and he was in the Popes in the very first beginning. They even do a song that is dedicated (or written-couldn't understand the words that came out of Leeson's mouth) by Shane.

Yeah: Everybody's Welcome to the Hooley. Leeson and Guido told me they wrote it at a fesitval in Belgium last year when a German band the Porters were harassed by some nazi skins when they were bringing in some politics. The Porters' singer was badly hurt after that. Leeson wrote the song on the spot and I just ordered the single yesterday from the website
