WTF??!!

Post Wed Oct 24, 2007 11:40 pm

Toronto and Montreal? Christ, they could at least come to Moncton or Halifax on their way back home while they've got the Tossers with them.

I thought they enjoyed Halifax last time they were here. They had a good turnout. Mostly fucking kids though, and the beer was too far away.

What is it with the all-ages shows anyway? Sure, in the US where legal = 21 you're alienating a large group of ppl w/o an all ages show. Here's it's 19. In Montreal it's 18.

Now I'm wondering if I can make it to TO or Montreal. It's likely too late now to arrange a Vacation. I don't think Tossers were on the bill last time I checked.

I just looked at Burlington, VT on google maps. Holy tiny town! what's the attraction? Might as well play Halifax.

Definitely. I was pissed because the floor tickets are sold out but I managed to get one from someone with an extra.

DKM, Tossers, Briggs, AND Filthy Thieving Bastards. Incredible.

DKM Live Today in Boston

Post Tue Oct 30, 2007 3:36 pm

Just in case you live in a cave or a non-baseball fan,
the DKMs will be part of the Red Sox World Series Celebration (aka Rolling Rally) in downtown Boston today around noon. They will be playing on a flatbed through the streets of Boston. Rumor has it that Papelbon
and Beckett will take the mantle of greatest Irish Step Dancer from Michael
Flatley :)

Cheers al! I think the price of our hotel rooms & ticket prices just went up e few more bucks...last year "The Departed"...this year, mega World Series exposure. They had it in '04,but this year with Papelbon latching on to the band, they're in a whole bunch of celebration photos & vids.Good for them,I'll deal with the $10 higher hotel rate & the $5 extra on the tix....AS LONG AS ALL OF THESE POSEURS DON'T BUY ALL OF OUR TICKETS UP!! Sorry, just had to say that loud!! Al,If I can figure out how to do it,I'll pm you some real shitty cell phone pix.I'm on that right now after I watch the Sex Pistols on Craig Ferguson!!!!!

Okay just did the Pistols...Johnny is a cartoon now,he even plays it up as such.Too bad,the band still sounds good. But the 96 reunion was solid & tight...this seems like CASH FOR CHAOS...(those old enough will giggle when they read that, you youngsters have no idea)..anyways,link this

and this

and this

http://news.bostonherald.com/news/regio ... id=1041433

These are some common links of what has been going on here in NE USA...DKM is kinda the unofficial "House Band" of the World Champion Boston Red Sox...(for those of you who didn't know)...

Al,I'll work on trying to get you those lousy cell pics...have you looked into Darkbuster yet??
For those in the NYC area, next Friday,Nov 9th,Darkbuster at the Knitting Factory.

WOW! I've just seen that the Dropkicks will play with the motherfuckin' Tossers on the 17th of November, in Montreal! The Tossers never come to Canada, or very rarely, I am so excited, I just wet myself! I am sorry, maybe for you living under the borders this is no big deal, but for a little French Canadian fan of this awesome band this is a HUGE deal! :)

I am going to buy my tickets first thing tomorrow!

The Dropkicks are cool, don't get me wrong, but I have seen them a couple of times already.

This will be one hell of a show!

I agree and have wet myself in a demonstration of solidarity, my northern comrade.

I wish they'd come to Halifax. Travelling to Boston for the Pogues is one thing (I LOVE Boston). Don't care much for Montreal or Toronto.
