Hey ppl, dropkick murphys at brixton on march 3rd. Wont be as good as the pouges but help tide us over the times without them. :wink:

I think Dropkick Murphys aint really that good at all. They are like that crap skater punk stuff that little kids like and also do ridiculous covers of stuff like Amazing Grace (!?!?!). Also they ruin songs by simply playing them fast on skaterpunk guitars. A bit like in a Busted style.

Yes, The Mahones are quite good.
Another band worth checking out is Whisky Priests, their 1989 release Nee Gud Luck is great.

I would suggest their first record "Draggin the Days" if you can get ahold of it....I think it was released in '94 on Kinetic records.
