One word: awsome!
“An’ this is the last of Brummy,” he said, leaning on his spade and looking away over the tops of the ragged gums on the distant range.

That guy - Eugene - is ex-Kiever and my namesake too. But I have to admit - never listen to them...

they're really good, i think the lead singer kinda sounds like the singer of Modest Mouse, but that's just my opinion :P

My friend says Hutz looks like the dude from "Super Size Me".

yes, you are right. "I've never listened to them (in spite of he is my countryman and namesake, once they played here and I keep coming upon their CDs in local shops)" - that's what i meant. Sorry for confusing you and insulting your native language

Gogol Bordello-related

Post Sat Dec 16, 2006 1:30 pm

A little bird told me this was opening in the UK in January. Would probably be a very interesting way to spend a cold night before going out.
What kind of fuckery is this?

Oh, this looks like fun! Heard them in "Everything is Illuminated", in which the singer also starred.
Just saw that I missed them in concert... always one step behind.

Cheers for that, looking forward to it. I have seen them three times this year, probably the best live band around at the moment (until the Pogues announce more dates).

Any Gogol Bodello fans here?

Post Wed Jun 13, 2007 6:42 am

Gogol Bordello will be performing in my area soon and I like what I’ve learned about them, but I still haven’t heard much music by them yet. Which one album of theirs would you fans suggest that I buy, to get the primary gist of the experience? I’m a fan of both eastern European and Irish traditional musics.
