i dont like punk irish music ive never really seen the pogues as punky

(i know there are seen like that by many ppl and would also claim themselves to be a part of the punk genere with an irish twist)

but i think all the pogues songs r gr8 but bands like dropkick mruhpys i think they just murder the songs

sorry my opnion.

but it would be ruined if they did.

some traditional songs can still be really good (or even better than traditional versions) when covered by a punk band (the real mckenzies 'loch lomond', dropkick murphys 'fields of athenry', the devil's advocates 'the town i loved so well', etc.) but some can only be fucked up. dirty old town is one of them.

You haven't heard Dirty old Town by Thanateros (folkmetal). It's even better than by the Pogues (and that says a lot).

No it just shows a dreamhost page from The Netherlands. No downloads...
