Ok, here's a little more information about some of irish bands in Serbia(maybe there are more but I heard only for the following bands):

-ORTHODOX CELTS-
The first and the most popular irish band in Serbia, plays since 1993.
They released four albums. Own songs and irish traditionals.

-IRISH STEW of Sindidun-
Young band that plays mixture of irish traditional music and punk-rock, but a little bit softer than Flogging Molly, for example...
They play their own songs and also play some irish traditionals and Pogues covers too.
They released their first album last year.

-TIR NA NOG-
This band plays mixture of pop-rock and irish traditional sound.
They recorded their first album and i hope it will be released as soon as possible.

Few remarks from me soide ... the only Oirish band(in terms at least 1 member is Oirish is Irish Rover and The Crew), so the others can be named Serbian bands that play Oirish music at best. In terms that lead singers speak Serbian in breaks and some even do songs in Serbian or use cover songs for same.

IRISH ROVER & CREW is not Popes tribute. The band is IN THIS STAGE tribute to Shane MacGowan(once more, tis initial stage of the band). The band is also the only one playin' in Oirish punk rock style.

theres pretty amazing phenomenon within some Serbs... they loike to show disrespect towards other nations, including hate for different and better then themselves.. tis no wonder they commited some dozens of war crimes and tried to work out ethnic cleansing of other nations(Croats, Albanians etc.). Tis always been an "amazing" thing to watch how worst people and things here are put on top, so with those guests oi never asked a question of why's Serbia beeing a 3rd world country..

Irish Pogue

I think it's great because what kind of music we will play.Thet is irish folk punk.The Pogues tribute with electric guitar.
First songs what we will practice are Tuesday Morning and of course Streams Of Whiskey.

What happened to this bloke, i wonder? Maybe him and Mina got it sorted, and Irish Pogue are now taking Serbia by storm. Hope so.
