Fintan, the performer

Post Wed Aug 02, 2006 9:24 pm

Well, a lucky few here were honored with our own Fintan's latest in the form of a very professionally produced limited edition CD. :D I thought I'd start this thread up to provide a vehicle for your impressions (since the old whoooor :P can't really do that, and has had the class to stand back and wait for it  ).

Okay... question. Mr. Fish, all of the songs but #20 are someone else's, but this one has no name next to it. Did you write it?

I've had it on my mp3 player for a few days now and I'm really enjoying it.

Fintan, I made the mistake of not naming the tracks before I passed the cd on. would you be kind enough to type them out for me?

I'm looking forward to hearing this Fintan, hope it comes soon.

Especially looking forward to Grace as it brings back past memories of a band I know who used to play it and Whiskey On A Sunday, which is actually a Liverpool song despite what people say.

I like The Rose of Allendale as I live in a place that sounds very much like that, and my daughter is the rose of the neighborhood. :)

I've just got the Fintan CD. It's an excellent album. After The Battle Of Aughrim is my favourite track at the moment, but there are so many great songs on there.

Thank you all very much. I am touched (in the head AND the heart) by your kind words. Keep 'em coming. Any and all correspondence will be gratefully answered. I'm currently taking suggestions for material for the next project. :)
