There remain only two good covers of FoNY - the spoken word version and the No Use For A Name version, because they both do something new with the song. To which I would probably add Brendan Bowyer and Aisling Bowyer's version, although that sticks more closely to our blueprint. And I don't get paid royalties on any of these versions either.
What about the Christy Moore version? I think thats pretty decent, although what he did with it is what almost everyone else whos covered it since has done, only he did it better.
