Yes, they were. They're not too bad, but a bit too slooow for me. There are (were?) a couple of videos / snippets at their
site, but it seems to be down now.

I have their "Special Reserve" album. I find them to be boring and inoffensive and flat.

There are a couple of songs/tunes here, but doesn't seem to be working for me for some reason.

I've got their first self-titled album, which is quite good. Highlights from that CD are "The Hills of Connemara," "Jonny Jump Up," and "The Leaving of Liverpool." They have more of a traditional sound, as opposed to the Pogues' trad/punk blend.

they are more of an easy listening type of band
one you would play for old ladies and children
its not the rowdy type of stuff that the Pogues are

Can't say I was a fan, Johnny Jump Up wasnt bad. Bit bland on the whole though.

All in all I'd say that the German Fiddler's Green do the same thing as Gaelic Storm do, only a lot better
