Will's video Hell or High Water is one of five nominees for this week's Freshman Video selection. MTV?!?! You can watch it there and vote, often, until Friday 11:59 a.m. EDT.

No apology needed. As long as you're not cursing at me, I don't mind! I, too, hope to meet you, Spider.

Thanks, Esther. 8)
Unless I drifted off at the crucial time, I don't think William appeared on the programme broadcast on BBC TV last night? Hoping for more on Friday's longer version...

No, he was sat near the back, sat at a table drinking a beer and briefly got a mention just before Newsnight

William Elliott Whitmore on the Jools Holland programme last Friday is currently on the BBC iplayer:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... Episode_3/

I fear this will not be viewable outside the local region. If you can see it, William does "Old Devils" about 37.20 minutes into the programme.

2 more WEW fans. 8)

I told the my best man from my wedding to go see WEW in Denver last Sunday. He is hooked. Also, just got this note from a friend who lives in Ireland tonight:

Meant to mention that I have become quite taken with W.E.Whitmore-saw him also on Jools Holland on BBC 2 last Fri. Great to see genuine protest done well in song. I could not go see him in Whelans on Mon. night due to other commitments.

Everyone just needs to keep spreading the word...

It's a shame that the 'Later' bosses only let him do the one song, and they even picked it for him!
He did say at the gig though, that there was a good chance he'd have also picked Old Devils.

Cracking show, JoolsHolland really irritates me, I like his music but can't abide his talking/interview technique.

On a Later side note, when The Fall appeared on the show they had it written into their contract that neither Holland or his band would accompany The Fall during any of their songs

Now Mark E. Smith accompanied by Jools Holland and band is something I'd go a long way to see.
