Covering the Nips

My band - The Winnebago Orchestra - made a version of the Shane MacGowan penned classic 'Gabrielle' for a CD we released three years ago. This can be heard at myspace.com/thewinnebagoorchestra

Hope you think it does justice to a great lost classic song!

hello ANDY!!!! :D i had a chance to hear your cover of Gabrielle and i really, really liked it very much. look forward to getting your new c.d too with Winnebago Orchestra as i like what i have heard in the past :D :D

'Gabrielle' by The Nips

The Winnebago Orchestra recorded a version of the Shane MacGowan song 'Gabrielle'. It is one of the best known songs by Shane's pre-Pogues band The Nips.
