Absolutely. I've just payed £35 for a ticket to see the Pogues @ Xmas - do i begrudge it? No. Money well spent , everyone is happy.
Even Joe Strummer had to make a living! I'm pretty certain Joe must have sanctioned the use of 'Should i stay or should i go' to Levis for their commercial but it in turn it meant more people checked out the work of the Clash.
If Paul, Mick & Topper wanna go out on the road and play some Clash songs with a different singer then who are we to argue? They've earned the right.
One last thing; anyone who thinks the Clash was just about Joe is very mistaken.

sorry, I think Tim is NOT a good choice, wrong style,wrong period, wrong almost everything but maybe if Paul from the Jam was fronting..I MIGHT go see the Clash tribute band on tour.....

What's the point of a reunion without Joe? The original members never would do anything to harm Joe's stature in the band so theres never gonna be a reunion.

They figure the band should go sometime and the Clash went with Joe.

Bottom line A tour without the lead singer is shite, The Clash without Joe Thin Lizzy without Phil, Queen Without Freddie, The Pogues without Shane did it really work I know alot of the time it's because of the money but shit for the fans can you imagine U2 without Bono or Oasis without Noel or Liam Shit.

Obviously it's something a lot of folk have very strong, emotional views on . For me i have no problem with Mick , Paul & Topper on the same stage even if it's with another singer , i still think it'd be worth seeing , and i would pay for the privelige - i'm okay with this because i'm not expecting to see 'The Clash'. An 'interesting' show ? Probably. The Clash? No.
I started going to gigs regular when i was 13 in 1982 but never had the opportunity to see The Clash. I was fortunate enough to catch Joe on his 'Class War' (?) busking tour outside a gig at Leeds Universtiy and i still remember me & a friend climbing a tree for a better view. To this day i have no recollection of which gig but i do remember hanging in the tree for dear life!

I'm from York originally but alas wasn't around for that , i know a couple of people who swear they went for a drink with Joe later.
