It's such an exciting lineup I can't wait. Lucky you can do ticketweb. They have a great business.

4 tix at $12 each & an $11 charge for the entire order.Ticketmaster probably would've almost equaled the ticket price with their bogus charges for each ticket.Do you know who the Krum Bums are??

WILL THE TOSSERS HAVE A FULL SET IN BOSTON?

Post Wed May 23, 2007 5:46 pm

I've been told by the wife we "have plans" during the July 5th performance in Boston.
If someone can be assure me that the Tossers will have a full setlist I'd be more than willing to use a get out jail free card for that evening.

Saw an add in the Globe today that they are to be playing a festival at the Canton Irish Center the first weekend in August with Black 47, the Saw Doctors, Tommy Makem, Dropkick Murphys and a whole bunch of others.

We'll have to get a Medusian meet and greet booth going. Too bad the boys will be in Europe. What a lineup!!!

I bought T. Duggins' (singer for Tossers) "solo" album the other day and I like it a lot. It really doesn't seem to be all that much of a solo effort, since the Tossers back him up on most songs, in some combination.
What kind of fuckery is this?

I wasn't all that impressed by the new album. If I'm remembering correctly, "Leopardstown Races" is my favorite song from it. Not to be misunderstood, I like it just fine, but it seems to be a mere continuation of what this band has done in the past. I can't see any more progress or maturity in Agony than in their other recent work. Long Dim Road still holds the title. The "Siobhan" video is cool because of the half-second flash of the Poguetry in Motion EP, but that's about it. The band looks as if they're trying to play a part, and what's more, they're bored with it.

They played in Pittsburgh a few months ago. I would have gone to see them if I could have, but their show was 21 and over. One word: LAME. I thought this was a punk band, at least in some small way. Whatever, I'd still go see them if I get the chance to in the future, but I'm much less stoked on them now than I have been in the past.

The venue sets that sort of thing. They were great both times I've seen them live and I'm not yet 21.

I know the venue sets any age restrictions, but the band should have sense enough to book their shows at all ages spaces.

Yeah but I don't think they are big enough of a band to be picky about the places where they play.

I think they are not picky for an entirely different reason.
