I like it a lot, but I don't think I actually prefer The Valley Of The Shadow Of Death personally, the tunes are more catchy.
Your sentence is not clear. You prefer Agony or The Valley?
Sorry I see what you mean.
That should have read I prefer the Valley.

Mine just arrived. Sadly, it is late, I'm pooped, and will have to get to it in the morning.

Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or is that a vinyl Poguetry in Motion EP T is flipping around in the Siobhan video?

Finally got my copy, and it's a good one. Valley was a bit heavier on the folk side of folk-rock, which was what I really liked, but this one will get a lot of time in my car stereo, no doubt.

I think I'll do the same.
I've played it about three times now and it's growing on me.

The new album didn't hit me as hard instantly as the previous one did. Still, it's a great album and gets better every time I listen to it. So it's hard to make any judgements just yet.
The Tossers new album Agony

I just bought The Tossers new album Agony yesterday. A still rather valiant effort from this great Chicago based Irish-American band. However, their new album, as with their others (although I rather enjoyed Beyond the Valley of Shadow and Death), still fails to capture the magic of their first album Purgatory.

I bought Purgatory, and listening to the first track I thought, "wow, this is great". Until the singing started and I thought "fuck, this sounds just like the guy from Flogging Molly and I can't stand his voice!" Twas disappointing .

"Valley" was better, but it's nonetheless a cool album, and yes: it gets better every time you hear it.

This must be a joke.
Seriously, the fellah' from Flogging Molly sounds like a castrato kicked in the balls, and as to voices, he has nothing in common with T. Duggins.
