Ok this is fun does anyone have other favourite Irish Bands/Artist's or Irish music, apart from The Pogues?
U2, Christy Moore, Damian Rice, The Dubliners, Van Morrison, Rory Gallagher, Phill Lynott (I'm not saying Thin Lizzy because there all American now), Luke Kelly solo stuff is good, The Waterboy's Fisherman's Blues is good, and some Planxty stuff is ace.
Anyone else got any Irish Favorites

i got a three CD of Dubliners greatest songs and Luke Kelly sings most of the tracks it's worth the money at £11.99 and a few live songs throwen in for good measure. I don't kno what that is in $$$$$$$$$ dollars. But go and get it the price is good!!

The Irish Rovers were the first Irish band I ever listened to. I like them when I'm in the mood for something a bit more traditional and mellow. The Dubliners are also a favorite of mine, again when I want something more traditional, but maybe not as mellow as the Rovers. Finnegan's Lads are also high on my list.
I'm sure I have alot more that I like at times, but wouldn't consider myself a big fan.
