Dead Rabbits - Pogues Tribute - New gig!!

Hello everyone! I’ve been a lurker on here for a couple of weeks but I’ve decided to break my vow of silence to shameless plug a gig for my band! I play in the Dead Rabbits, a tribute band to the Pogues based in Peterborough, and we are playing our first gig of the year on Friday 13th May. (I know, i know, we are a bunch of lazy bastards!) I don’t know how many forum members live in or around the Cambridgeshire area, but you if you do, you can catch us at The Prince of Wales Feathers pub in Castor, Peterborough. We have a few more gigs in the pipeline, but i will post details up on here as and when. That’s if anyone is interested! And i will also try not to lurk anymore and join in some of the “lively discussions”!!

We do like to leave the fens every now and then! We do gigs up and down the country, and wherever anyone wants to play we will play there. We do have some interesting things coming up (fingers crossed!) which could be very exciting! Incidently, If there are any forum members out there who own or work for a venue and want to book us just drop me a message or visit the website.

We had the great pleasure of playing with Spider and Andrew at a charity event we helped organise in Peterborough, in August 2007. They were absolutely brilliant, top blokes and it was one of the best nights of my life! There are no plans to play with them again, but we live in hope!

And Rich there's plenty of room for two bands! Could be some healthy competition for us!
