I've no idea if this statement is pro or anti Flogging Molly, but I figure it's the former.

I really don't see why so many people hate them with such passion. Perhaps it's the thought of a band successfully combining Irish music and punk that worries you so... in which case, you're probably on the wrong forum.

And to state they have no soul or passion shows that you really haven't bothered to listen to them before hating them.

dude, everybody hears different things oin different ways, for example you probably wouldnt get what I get from some of the music i listen to. As for fm, HAVING NEVER LISTENED TO THEM, DONT HAVE AN OPINION AS TO THEIR SHITENESS OR GREATNESS

Understood, and I'm with you there, I wouldn't claim to dislike any of your favourite music before I heard it, either.

This is an open message board, if people don't like FM, then fine, say so here, and maybe points raised can be discussed, but to just scream abuse at a band because you don't like them... well, it seems a little pointless to me.

Not to mention haven't seen them live. I've seen them 5 times and they put on some of the best shows.

Nathen Maxwell's gear was stolen!

We need your help! Our own Nathen Maxwell was on a road trip when his car was broken into in Kingman, Arizona and some of his most prized musical equipment was stolen. We're hoping that you, our fans, can help us out by posting the information on your MySpace pages and just keeping an eye out to see if any of this gear turns up. Here is what was taken:

National Resophonic bass guitar - This is a one of a kind left handed bass that is not in production anymore. The photo of Nathen on this post shows the bass.

National bass case that also contained a Highlander IP1X Inline pre-amp and a Korg Toneworks PX3B personal effects processor.

KoAloha Koa wood Concert Ukulele

Ampeg Combo amp

As you can imagine, Nathen is very saddened by this loss, especially of the National bass guitar. If you have any information or see any of this gear around, please send a message to FloggingMolly@villamartists.com

Wow,what a way to start a tour.Losing Matt Hensley first,then Nathan losing his gear.I'm not into this my space bullshit,and the official FM site hasn't updated in months.Does anybody know what the fuck is going on here??Did they replace Matt Hensley or is he doing this tour & then calling it quits??He will be seriously missed.I complained on another thread about why Matt played accordian on the Street Dogs cd & James played whistle.I still feel that way,but if James is A#1,Matt is A#1minus.So if anyone has heard what is going on in FM land in the search for a new accordian player,please post up.I'm seeing them in 3 weeks & looking forward in a big way.

What I've heard they're playing some shows in the US now and are playing new songs! There's only one show known in the summer they'll be playing europe
