I'm a fan of Real McKenzies and my favorite album is Loch'd & Loaded havn't heard much off their other albums but one day I'll get round to it.

Pissed at Real McKenzies

It has been forever since the Real McKenzies have been around the USA. I just checked out The Briggs web site and found that they are out touring Europe with the McKenzies.?!?! What the fuck?!?!? :evil: :? :(

Well ... At the risk of being accused of being a Fat Arrogant US Guy I'll put forth this reason:

The USA has far more viable markets for most touring music than Uganda, Nepal, and North Korea combined.

No argument there. But your original question was "There's ~200 countries in the world; why should a band come to the USA every year?" That's very different than "Why should a Celtic-Rock band come to the USA every year when an equally viable market for their music exists in Europe?"

there are thousands of bands who have far more fans in Europe than in the US, that's it

about korea, and other countries I'm not an expert 8)
