I have seen two bands recently doing Pogues covers, not tribute bands but bands who have incorporated some very fine songs into their set. Oddly, a bit like the Pogues incorporated traditional songs into their sets. Both were at beer festivals and both did excellent versions. Pogues songs and great beer! What could be better? Other than the real thing.
I can't really play it at the moment as my wife is watching 'Children In Need Of A Slap' or something, and I can't be arsed looking for my headphones..and anyway i've got cat litter trays to clean out in a minute..I get all the best jobs in our house..I will give it a listen later and let yers know what I think..as if anyone would care..
Glad to see you are keeping busy! Isn't it celebrities in need of a slap?
