I hate it.
Especially the mimicked scream.
Fuck.

Everyone here is too damn polite about this stuff.
Ugh.

Have a nice day.

I'm gonna be too fucking polite. I fucking love the rough way it's played. What the fuck is a mimicked scream? I love the way they put that up here including fucked up lyrics and terrible sound quality and it doesn't matter a fuck because it's fucking real. If i was in that pub and they played that i'd be happy.

Try contributing more to this forum instead of just "Good Pictures Of Anything" which are mostly total shite anyway.

Have a nice day.

This is a group of musicians who normally play original music that formed a Pogues tribute band on the side for love of the Pogues.. it's supposed to be for fun and maybe to indoctrinate some next generation Pogues fans in the process.

"the mimicked scream" ?... A tribute band is by definition about mimicry... MacMillan: Tribute Band - "a group of musicians who play the music of a very famous band and try to look and sound like them"

Oh STFU.

Put your dictionary down, it wasn't personal.

I guess I hate Pogues tribute bands. I really don't see the fucking point.
Though I would like to see the Ollin one because they are amazing on their own and I'm curious about the mix, it must be awesome.

Indoctrinate? That's a bit of a stretch.

You should actually be thanking me for helping you promote the video on this thread.

If you're gonna go posting videos on fan forums expect differing reactions, mine was rude (to a degree) but so what.

Our reply was based on content and topic...No personal attack intended on our part nor any personal offense taken.. though It's likely your sole aim to provoke such reactions

Yes, agree that it would be foolish to expect to please everyone.. It has been duly noted that you, Frances, think the video sucks, or we suck.. or everyone sucks.. or whatever it is you mean to say.. Sorry that it's hard to care or take it seriously given the inherent contradictions and lack of substance or tact...

As I said before this is just for fun and for sharing a love of the Pogues' music, not about promoting ourselves or the video...seems doubtful you're effectively promoting anything here except your own cynicism and want of attention through a lot of pointless vitriol..

You'll eventually go blind if you keep overexerting those rolling emoticon eyes.. signing off this frequency.. over n' out

As one who's spent a fair portion of their life whoopin' and howlin' and hollerin' along to Pogues songs, I like it a whole fuppin' lot. Thanks for sharing the vid. 8)

Nah, I just really hated that clip and felt quite free to say so.

I actually post on this forum because I don't want to see it dwindle down to nil in the face of its recent great loss.

You, on the other hand, come to supposedly "not" promote your third-rate cover band in every post.

Smilies are the shit. I know they don't effectively promote your band in any way, but hell... can we keep them?

Asshole.

I like it. Can't understand why anyone would find it offensive.

I have seen two bands recently doing Pogues covers, not tribute bands but bands who have incorporated some very fine songs into their set. Oddly, a bit like the Pogues incorporated traditional songs into their sets. Both were at beer festivals and both did excellent versions. Pogues songs and great beer! What could be better? Other than the real thing.

I can't really play it at the moment as my wife is watching 'Children In Need Of A Slap' or something, and I can't be arsed looking for my headphones..and anyway i've got cat litter trays to clean out in a minute..I get all the best jobs in our house..I will give it a listen later and let yers know what I think..as if anyone would care.. :)
