The New Lepers

Thought I'd be a whore and post a link to my band/celebrity softcore porn page:

Not just being a whore, actually. Could use some perspective on my songs outside the local scene, which, like all scenes, makes a habit of placing talentless dick-heads on a pedestal. I too am a talentless dick-head, and at a loss as to why I'm continually overlooked.

Will,

You're definately not a talentless dick-head. Loved the first song i listened to (Drowned) then clicked on the next one on the list and thought it was still the same track. Too similar. How many of you in the band? More variation needed.

'Open Mic night at the pretentious student coffee house' WTF???? Did you ever listen to Half Man Half Biscuit? I laughed out loud at the last 2 mins of it though.  :?

What's with the pictures? Tacky at best. Ditch them.

Keep on at it and fuck the begrudgers 8)

I'm in a whorish mood today (more so than usual), and feeling a lot like that kid who brings that stupid picture he scrawled with crayons and snot to show-and-tell for all the other kids to be thoroughly unimpressed with.

I've recorded a lot of old/new material since I started this thread, and figured I'd give it its annual bump. A Happy Song at the very least is Pogues-related, insofar as it's based off of Streams of Whiskey -- but also heavily inspired by Frankie Yankovic, Midwestern polkas in general, and that giant steaming heap of shit that constitutes my life.

Na zdravi!
