Dammit. I would totally go this this, but I fly home the day before.

Go see these guys! The twins are nice as hell, the band is great, they're huge Pogues fans, and they're just generally all around awesome.

If you're in the Pac North West go see KMRIA (there's another thread around here for their gig) instead. They're ALSO awesome, AND they're not at SxSW in their other guise of The Decemberists.

And if you're in Vancouver, BC, go to the WISE hall to see "Shane's Teeth". Don't know if they're any good, but i'll be there, and i'll buy you a beer.

we saw Shane's Teeth a few years ago - they were a bit rough around the edges - but a good time, overall. Might see you there - still haven't made plans for tonight...
...ain't it funny how you used to know everybody in these parts...

THIS YEAR WILL BE OUR VERY BEST POGUES TRIBUTE, EN SERIO!!

We're working on new tunes to add to the setlist and this year we will be playing 2 full sets of PURO POGUES musica!

We will be performing (and implementing, tu sabes!)"Rum, Sodomy, and The Lash".
Y we will be featuring more selections from the first record "Red Roses For Me".

Don't miss our annual St. Patrick's Day this year, as it will be our tightest yet. Keep checking in for vid/audio previews and mas show info TBA.

KMRIA's vocals are crap imho, but their musicianship is quite nice!

Saw you here in San Antonio a few years ago at Salute on N. St. Mary's St. -- you are overdue for a return engagement! Come back soon.
