They're OK, some decent tunes. Different Drummer, Five Points, Czechoslovakia, Who Killed Bobby Fuller.

But Jesus Christ, Larry Kirwan's voice is annoying. And the constant wailing sax gets right on my thr'pennies too.

Oh they're no Pogues by far. Often their music seems like they have too much going on. Agreed, they have some good songs, I haven't heard anything new. I have the first CD and the "Home of the brave" A few years back when I worked in NYC they were playing at a little place just off Broadway every Thurs/Fri. Can't remember the name of the joint now.
I just mentioned since they're playin on the east coast but, if DK Murphy's are playing go see them. If you can't get west or wait til March!

Enjoy Black 47 as well! Larry now has a show on Sirius Radio The Spectrum (channel 18 if I remember correctly).
Saturdays, he does all Celtic Rock/Punk.
Good stuff.
