Tribute Site to Brendan Behan...

Post Mon Feb 12, 2007 10:20 pm

Hi all,
I am putting together a tribute site to Brendan Behan, and I would be grateful if any of you would be kind enough to take time out of your schedule to have a look. It is a 'non-profit' 'labour of love' thing. There seems to be no dedicated site to Brendan on the www so I hope to do him justice (which is perhaps not a word with which he himself would prefer, but...). It is a sort of collation of information, rather than a critique (of which I am not in any position to do). Buy and read his books I say, and thanks for reading this!

http://brendanbehan.info/

best wishes,
Willy

Looks great!
“An’ this is the last of Brummy,” he said, leaning on his spade and looking away over the tops of the ragged gums on the distant range.

That's very well done Willy. Best of luck with this. Can't wait until March 20th.

The Website looks great Willy. I have bookmarked it and will take the time to have a propoer look later. You have done a hell of a lot of work. Fair play.

Great job, Willy! There has been a real gap ever since the Brendan Behan worship page went under.

You might like to know that among the bestseller lists published in last week's Independent on Sunday The Black Cat Bookshop in Leicester reported Borstal Boy as their No. 1 seller. Followed by Gogol's Diary of a Madman. Classy readers Leicester has.

Good luck with the site.
