Britain Sings Christmas on ITV

Post Sat Dec 22, 2007 7:24 pm

Its on Now, and is horrible thus far - all too schmultzy for my liking, but if Fairytale of New York comes top of the poll, which it could, it could tip FoNY slightly closer to the Christmas Number one!

well that was SHIT! an hour of my life I'll never be getting back. FoNY at number two - which isn't so bad, but what is bad was Diarmuid Gavin's heartless slaughtering of the greatest christmas song of all time! Jo Brand was ok, though - surprisingly in tune.

I think I'm going to cry. It was unspeakable. Oh well, at least ITV didn't censor it. Unlike the version on Top of the Pops 2 tonight with no sign of the band . . .
