hello thanks for all the enquiries. Rock'n'Reel is available in the Reading, Wigan and Arndale Park, Trafford Park and Stretford WH Smiths stores to answer all the queries.
As I've said before, being an independent magazine means we can be pushed undr the carpet and treated as very poor relations to the big Emap/IPC titles.
If anyone wants to get a copy reslly quickly they can alwats buy online at http://www.rock-n-reel.co.uk
Cheers

Managed to get a copy of this from W H Smiths in town juest before Crimbo.

The reason i couldn't find it first time round was simple.

It's not kept with the music mags, it's kept in the "other interests" section!

I got it through the post just before christmas , i havent had a chance to fread it properly but the interview with the Shane is good and the reviewws have given me some inspiration for new CDs. I like the sound of the Legendary Shack Shakers I know someone who saw them in Scotland and he said they nearly brought the house down. #
Think ill go and have a read now.

If anyone is remotely interested? I'm interviewed on the Bob Harris show on Radio 2 11.00pm - 2.00pm, Saturday 30 December.88 - 91FM / Sky digital 852 / Freeview 72.
I'm interviewed about the re-launched Rock'n'Reel and get the chance to choose a few tracks.
Have a listen in and hear my super enthiastic ramblings!

Th' Legendary Shack Shakers are well worth checking out, I have two of their albums (Pandelerium and Believe), both are summed up very well in the article in Rock and Reel. I haven't had a chance to see them live but a couple of friends of mine have and rate them extremely highly.

They opened for us one of the nights in October in San Francisco by my personal request. I really rate them as a live band.

A brave choice of support band, can't have been easy to follow them.

In the new (March/April) edition of Rock'N'Reel there's a review of the Manchester gig. One of the most positive reviews of that gig that I've read. 8)
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

Sean wouldn't mind at all if you put in a scan of the review! As I am he!
Wonder if anybody is planning to stick with us for the second issue? Check out http://www.rock-n-reel.co.uk for a giant scan of the new issue.
Cheers

Don't have a working scanner here. If nobody else produces the review, I'll type it up later.
