there's a picture on the front of the Metro paper today, Shane pretty much looks like wormtongue from The Two Towers movie, and does not have any teeth. Not really sure how recent it is. actually what they wrote pisses me off the more I think about it.

The title of this topic threw me a little, as i was reading my free newspaper which is scattered all over the tube this morning "the Metro" to my delight i see a st.patricks day section.. whereupon they show ten Irish pubs and ten Irish celebs.. and the jist is read the description and at the end it says out of the ten celebs which drinking partner is most suited.

TO MY SHOCK HORROR - there in the paper was my local!!!! I thought what the hell is it doing in the top irish pub catagory - a few irish whiskeys.. we'll give it that .. but .. common'! and there at the bottom.. ideal drinking partner for this place was thee Shane MacGowan - I was like OMG! Can you imagine the little nervous giggle that errupted? out of the other 10 pubs ive been to 5. Nice little piece i thought.
