Nothing as working class as The Street or Eastenders, as far as I know. Here in Oz, the only US soaps we see are the 'Days Of Our Lives' big-hair eyebrow-acting school of hammy acting types. Mind you Heather Mills-MacCartney was guesting on one the other day when I was at the gym. Yum-yum. Lovely looking lass that one. Onya Sir Paul.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the song from around that area? I went to Old Trafford last year and it was preformed by a couple of people before the match kicked off all be it, not in The Pogues tradition.

Not at all close to each other.

My secret shame is my addiction to Footballer's Wives.

Hmm.......it's not been the same since they gave Joan Collins a job. I mean there's camp and camp. When you pour camp on top of camp, you get merely tackiness. And Joanie's mother/lover-to-poor-orphan-boys schtick is not plausibly distant enough from her real-life persona to be amusing. It was a better programme when the worst we had to worry about was Chardonnay's embonpoint being engulfed in flames or Ian Beale's mother giving birth to hermaphrodite children.

My Mum used to say that to me too! Did she also tell you to "stop acting the giddy goat" ?! Or, when asked to do something say "Hang fire, I've only got two pairs of hands..."

Have you seen the Chris Rock show?, 'Everbody hates Chris' that is the best T.V show at the moment. Kind of 'The Wonder Years' meets 'My Wife and Kids.' Really funny with Chris Rock narration, On Sundays, Channel 5, 8:00pm & 8:30pm.
