Coronation Street

Post Thu Jan 05, 2006 12:38 am

Although probably no one will care, Fairytale was played loads of times around Xmas on Corrie (no surprise there) but also The Irish Rover was for about 2mins when the clock chimed on the NewYear episode. Good to hear some good music on Coronation Street. I remember one time they actually mentioned one of my other favourite bands, Shed Seven nontheless!

I don't watch Corrie regularly but I also noticed Irish Rover on the NYE episode. And yeah it did play for a while.

A couple of nights ago they were playing Dirty Old Town... :) We're months behind schedule here in Canada - right now Shelly's hiding from everyone, locked upstairs with a "black eye". I can't stand Charlie and all his mental abuse towards her. Looks like he's got her under total control and fearing the world - you know, making her so ultra dependant on him. Blah!
Sorry about the ramblings...

St. Peter, the temptation is great... but I'll wait to find out what happens in due time. Because of the Olympics, it'll be off air starting tonight till the end of the month.
I must say, I have the patience of a "saint"... :)

The few pennies I do have are being saved for the Pogues Pilgrimage. You understand don't you?
