How far did you see up to.

In the very end, they opened the hatch to discover a very long shaft that went straight down into the ground...

So you probably didn't see the boy on the raft being taken either.

These men in a boat came up to the raft and took the boy with them and burned the raft, leaving the other 3 in the water somewhere.

Yes in the Spring. They announced after the show that they were sure that many viewers would be dissappointed not to find out what was down the hatch, but that the new series would start in spring, and they even showed a little clip of it.

And it's already been aired in the US, and you can find out everything that's happened (if you really want to) on the Lost website... I got bored some way back...

I googled LOST and I just got "one adorable little calico kitty, does not yet know her name, called ALBERT" :roll:
