Anyway, everyone turns up on the bus from London, with the exception of Shane, who’s coming up on the train with Joey and Victoria.

Did I miss something?

"Katie will be seen singing Christmas anthem Fairytale Of New York live with Shane MacGowan and The Pogues, replacing the late Kirsty MacColl on It's Christmas with Jonathan Ross on December 22.

And she'll perform it again on Christmas Eve on CD:UK. Katie is helping to promote this Monday's re-release of the original recording with Kirsty.

She has already recorded both performances with The Pogues and insisted: "The Pogues are such a great band and Kirsty did such an amazing vocal so her shoes were hard to fill. It was daunting but we ended up being such a laugh."

"You never know what's going to happen next with Shane, but when it came to the recording he delivered."

I WILL NEVER FILL KIRSTY'S SHOES
Fairytale Of New York is a Xmas classic, but singing it was no easy task for Katie
