Great find Mike It's now on my hard drive and will soon be on my next DVD compilation

Is this different from the main Tube one that does the rounds on You Tube? (think its part of a french tv show that shows the footage a few years later)

I'm reliably informed that Nina Hagen & Co perform this in a sort of Hamburg idiom, not precisely standard German. I think it was one of the earliest covers of the song.

That's correct.

BAP are from Cologne and sing "kölsch" which is hard to understand for people outside of Cologne or without a huge amount of beer from Cologne (also called Kölsch**)...

Weihnachtsnaach means Christmas Eve.

Nina Hagen is from former Eastern Germany...

**They say "Kölsch" is the only beer that does not change on its way through the human body by the way...

I was at the gig but missed this as i was delayed getting there because of work. My friends who were there before me said you could hardly hear Shane but he did do some top class screaming :lol:
