The Jonathan Ross Show with The Pogues featuring Katie Melua will now be broadcast on DECEMBER 22 at 8pm and NOT December 9 as originally announced. Only Katie will be chatting with Jonathan.

It's baffling actually - they have been screening the 1987 Top Of The Pops appearance (in which Kirsty sings ASS for arse but still leaves the listener in no doubt that she is not discussing donkeys) for the past EIGHTEEN YEARS!!!!!!!

We will not budge on this. The BBC could always bleep out the words later, and there's nothing we could do about it, but frankly, they'll look ridiculous if they do that on a show which airs after 9 pm.

Honestly, in KINDERGARTENS all over the British Isles, 5 YEAR OLD CHILDREN sing the words of FoNY!!!

And if it's a "watershed" problem, then why have they decided to shift Ross on this occasion from the usual broadcast time, which is post-watershed?
