The Jonathan Ross Show with The Pogues featuring Katie Melua will now be broadcast on DECEMBER 22 at 8pm and NOT December 9 as originally announced. Only Katie will be chatting with Jonathan.

We're scheduled to record the show tomorrow (Wednesday) but right now that will only happen if the BBC removes its current objection to the following words: Faggot, Slut, Junk, Scumbag. :shock:

It's baffling actually - they have been screening the 1987 Top Of The Pops appearance (in which Kirsty sings ASS for arse but still leaves the listener in no doubt that she is not discussing donkeys) for the past EIGHTEEN YEARS!!!!!!!

We will not budge on this. The BBC could always bleep out the words later, and there's nothing we could do about it, but frankly, they'll look ridiculous if they do that on a show which airs after 9 pm.

Honestly, in KINDERGARTENS all over the British Isles, 5 YEAR OLD CHILDREN sing the words of FoNY!!!

You should come over here to perform FoNY on German TV. I promise that nobody will have any problem with any "bad language" at all.

( The Bloodhound Gang seems very eager to appear on German TV since here they can do and say all those things they can't on US TV )

I cannot understand it. I have seen 50 Cent and that lot talk openly about drugs and guns on the Jonathan Ross Show. Makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Unbelievable!

What about the words Johnathan Ross uses ?! They bleep him occasionally but leave most of the "offensive"words in - even his Sat morning radio show is very risque - I often have to turn the sound down when my frail old lady customers are in the shop!
