"Is the Englishman have Irish heritage cause here it's weird only Irish people seem to like the pogues and non Irish seem to tend away and say the Pogues (Are to country for them and about that time i smack them)"

Actually yeah, 50% Irish if I recall correctly. His dad is from Belfast. If that's considered Irish...

Er yeah, I think that's pretty Irish. I did hear there'd been some trouble about this sort of thing once or twice.

There was a guy outside my halls last night singing "If i should fall..." I think he was drowning his sorrows after Shane cancelled The Lemon Tree show.

Most Pogues fans live in England. It's why the band play ten concerts in England and only one in Ireland this christmas!

One of the episodes of "The Wire" had a great drunken scene with the lead character driving along to "Transmetropolitan" Classic!!!!

My flatmate listens to a radio station that plays mostly rap and crap like that so when I was in his car in December last year and they playing the best Christmas songs of all time and Fairytale of New York came on I was ecstatic.

When I went to school we had practical education, where we had real jobs for some weeks. I was working with a group of 7-9 years old childrens and this group was invited to see a theater called "Skrotnisse" (Garbage Nils) . And every time when the sun rises, just to show that a new day had begun, a man dressed completly in yellow, jumped on stage, dancing to the tunes of "Fiesta". This happend 3 times during the hole play, and was always the most popular thing, that all the kids laughed at.
