Hello and greetings from Saint Augustine, Florida.
I am seeking information on getting permission to iether use a Pogues song, directly copy their performance, or creating a cover, by other artists, of a The Pogues song. Please contact me, Casey Leydon, at drawnhope@hotmail.com
I would like to create a video, to be uploaded on Facebook, Youtube, and our website, that would visually feature Saint Augustine, florida. This directly involves and promotes the local United Way of Saint Johns County, the county that Saint Augustine is in.

You should identify what song you want to use. Then look in the liner notes for who the publisher of the song is (something like "Perfect Songs, Ltd." etc). You should then use Google to find contact info for that publisher, if possible. Failing that you should contact the appropriate rights org (ASCAP most likely).

The band and their management have very little input into the process.
