If something is so precious it is beyond parody, it should probably be put out of its misery. The trick, however, is to send it up well, which Mr McIntyre (a name new to me, I must say: did he pay that audience to attend?) could never be accused of.

Yeah, it's not like he paired Shane up with a Beluga or anything.
