Written by Pogues frontman Shane McGowan and banjo player Jem Finer in 1987, the programme discovers how Kirsty McColl came to sing the vocals by accident, recalls public reaction (including a temporary ban on the lyric 'faggot') and assesses the lasting legacy of the song to this day...."

I wonder is this a re-packaged version of the on that was on the BBC a few years back, with Steve Lillywhite describing the recording process etc.?
