Funny enough Mr Lydon has used almost every penny of the proceeds from that advert to reform PIL. Apparently the record companies wouldnt touch them and he had to fund the tour himself. Hes not stupid our John

What I don't understand is; why take a song to use with lyrics that don't match up in any way, shape or form? I think Gridlock would make an excellent soundtrack to any car commercial, and there's any number of instrumental breaks that could be used. But it makes me smile.
