Well, it appears to be one man's dream. In yesterday's Boston Herald, while discussing the current Phish/Dave Matthews show, one of the writers proposed some bigtime concerts to be held at Fenway, including an Irish one, story here:

I know from an earlier interview, Mr. Chevron has been to a baseball game at Fenway, so as long as his dressing room is far away from Bono's, maybe this is a possibility??

interesting article! but "...and spice up the bill with the Pogues and Glen Hansard. Or even better, the Dropkick Murphys."??? BLASPHAME! it doesn't GET spicier than the pogues!

Pogues are only eight, but if they need a good dh or a lousy left fielder I can hit soft liners off meatball pitches.
