No offence but there wasn't one singer that was capable of singing these songs ... have listened to a lot of their covers. Some even with Pogues' members (Jem, Spider). Musically and in general this is a great idea and musically well done, but all the singers simply don't have the voices / singing styles for these songs. My opinion.
Rather be a waster than a wanker.

I imagine these productions take quite a lot of effort to arrange/organise so well done to all involved.
